INTERNS CAMP 2025 – Adventist Alpine Village
March 17-20

 

We’re looking forward to seeing you at Interns Camp 2025

 

When: March 17- 20

  • Registration starts at 4pm Monday 17 March. Dinner is at 6pm. We conclude Thursday March 20 at 10am (Please make note of these times when making travel arrangements).

Venue: Adventist Alpine Village

This year we are at Adventist Alpine Village. Which is a wonderful Adventist facility in Jindabyne NSW.

Travel directions from Canberra: continue on the Monaro Highway passing through Cooma. Continue on Kosciuszko Road, passing through Berridale to Jindabyne.

When you reach Jindabyne: Drive through Jindabyne to the second largest roundabout and turn left into Barry Way. Travel approximately 2km along Barry Way and turn right into Tinworth Dr. Drive past the airport to the end of Tinworth Dr.

Here you will be able to enter your flights, let us know about special dietary needs and if your spouse is coming.

Intern’s camp 2025 is for all Interns on Pathway 1 – Stage 1 (Compulsory) For those on Pathways 2 and 3 your conference will make the choice re your attendance – talk to your Ministerial Secretary.

Spouse Attendance:

You are very welcome to have your spouse join you.  We will have some discussion times just for partners and time for the two of you to chat or go for a long walk around the wonderful grounds.  Most of the discussion times will be great for your spouse to join you in.

Children:

This is not a family camp so if you have children and if your spouse is joining us then you will need to make arrangements for childcare during the time of camp (we do allow babies that need mum for feeding). This will allow you and your spouse to spend extra time together.

Costs:

While the AUC will cover accommodation and meals for you and your spouse, travel to Canberra is a Conference cost.  Some conferences are covering the cost of your spouse to travel to intern’s camp while others are not able to. Check with your Ministerial Secretary on this one.

Dress:

Dress is neat casual for meetings.  You will also need appropriate clothes for walking and activities.

The programme includes presentations (from excellent pastors/leaders/partners in ministry) and discussion times on various topics including:
